This composition has great benefits for the treatment of acidity, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease therefore prevent the back flow of acid in the stomach.

Pantoprazole belongs to benzimidazole derivatives and inhibits the enzyme which further inhibits the gastric acid secretion.

Domperidone is the blocker of dopamine receptors and it decreases the gastrointestinal peristalsis or release of prolactin. It also shows anti-emetic action.

Mechanism of Action-

Pantoprazole covalently shows binding with the sulfhydryl group of cysteines which is the part of the H+K+ATPase pump present on the parietal cells and neutralizes the excess acid that causes ulcers.
Domperidone is related to its dopamine receptor blockers activity at the chemotrigger trigger zone and gastric activity.
